The train journey to Jungfraujoch is a unique experience and one of the highlights of every holiday in Switzerland. Visitors can see a wondrous high-alpine world of ice, snow and rocks. The Sphinx at an altitude of 3,571 metres is unique. Its glazed viewing hall provides a breathtaking view of the glaciers in any weather conditions. 20 metres beneath the lookout platform visitors can admire the gleaming blue ice sculptures in the Ice Palace, which covers an area of 1,000 square metres.
